    Friendly Automotive Opens Their Doors

    The first Friendly Automotive store was located at 14 and Van Dyke. Our first store carried only Jeep vehicles.

    2000

    Friendly Acquires Second Brand

    In 2000 we added the Chrysler model line to our dealership to better serve the Warren area and our growing family of customers.

    2001

    Friendly Auto Opens a Second Location

    A second location in Clinton Township was opened in 2001. We started in Clinton with Buick and Honda, but soon moved from Buick to Cadillac, and have been carrying the full Honda and Cadillac lines at that location ever since.

    2004

    Our Third Location Opens in Lapeer

    With our third location we moved up to carry the full Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram line, and have since become one of the top CDJR dealers in all of Michigan.

    2019

    Washington Township Was Calling

    We opened Jim Riehl's Friendly CDJR in Romeo in 2019 and have been working to become a vital part of that community since.

    A New Brand, Same Friendly Treatment

    Added the Ford brand to the Jim Riehl family and opened Jim Riehl's Friendly Ford in Charlevoix, Michigan.
