Who we are

The business started with one Jeep store at 14 Mile and Van Dyke in Warren. Nearly four decades later the group spans Macomb, Lapeer and Charlevoix counties, and it is still run by the Riehl family rather than a public dealer consolidator. That ownership structure is the reason decisions about pricing, trade values and repair authorizations are made in the store by people you can meet.

Most of our business comes from repeat customers and their families. A group this size in a market this small does not survive on one-time transactions, which is why our vehicle pages publish the fee structure, the savings breakdown and the window sticker instead of asking you to call for a price.

• Automotive Service & Repair — Jim Riehl's Friendly Automotive operates factory-authorized service departments for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Ford, Honda and Cadillac in Warren, Romeo, Lapeer, Clinton Township and Charlevoix, handling warranty work, recalls, maintenance and repair on all makes.
• Genuine Parts & Accessories — Jim Riehl's Friendly Automotive stocks genuine Mopar, Ford, Honda and GM parts and accessories at its Michigan dealerships, with ordering and installation available for retail customers, independent shops and fleets.
• Commercial Trucks & Fleet — Jim Riehl's Commercial Trucks in Lapeer, Michigan supplies Ram chassis cabs, work trucks, upfit bodies and fleet vehicles to contractors, municipalities and businesses, with commercial financing and dedicated fleet service.
