Chassis and completed units are stocked in the configurations Michigan trades actually order, and anything else can be factory-ordered to your spec.

Upfitting and spec'ing a truck

Getting the specification right before the order is the difference between a truck that works for eight years and one you fight for eight years. We work through payload and gross vehicle weight rating against your real loaded weight, cab configuration against crew size, axle ratio and engine against towing duty, and body selection against how the crew actually loads and unloads.

Upfits are coordinated with body builders directly, so the chassis goes from us to the upfitter to you as one managed process with one point of contact. Ship-thru and pool-stock programs shorten the timeline on common configurations.

Commercial financing and fleet programs

Business financing is different from retail: we work with commercial lenders on business-name loans, TRAC leases and municipal lease-purchase agreements, and we can structure around fiscal-year budgeting for public entities. Manufacturer commercial incentives, national fleet account pricing and upfit allowances are applied where your business qualifies — bring your FIN or fleet account number and we will verify eligibility.

Keeping the fleet running

Commercial service is prioritized differently than retail service. Fleet customers get scheduling preference, extended service hours where available, and repair updates directly to the person who dispatches the truck. We track service history by unit number as well as by VIN so you can see cost per vehicle across the fleet at the end of the year.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a business to buy a commercial truck?

No. Anyone can purchase a work truck. A business entity, however, unlocks commercial financing structures, fleet incentive programs and business-name titling that a personal purchase cannot use.

How long does a factory order with an upfit take?

It depends on the chassis and the body. Common configurations that are already in stock or in pool inventory can be delivered in weeks; a factory-ordered chassis routed through an upfitter takes longer. We give a written timeline before you commit and update it as the order moves through production.

Can you service trucks you did not sell?

Yes. Our commercial service accepts fleet work regardless of where the vehicles were purchased, including mixed-brand fleets for general maintenance and repair.

Do you handle plow trucks for municipalities?

Yes. Plow-prep chassis, spreader installs and municipal lease-purchase paperwork are routine for us, and we schedule these builds ahead of the winter season.
